A practical guide Ebook for the amateur and proffesional.

"The cabinet-maker and upholsterer between them make stately and artistic furniture in which they may take an honest pride, but they are dependent on the french polisher to give it the beautiful lustrous appearance it assumes when displayed in the showroom. To those who own furniture of any kind- and their name is legion- a mastery of this art may easily become a most valuable asset. By its use a handsome piece of furniture may be made from common wood, and old furniture, drab and lustreless, can be improved out of recognition."

A.G.B. Antiques.

Welcome to A.G.B. Antiques, the Uk's premier online gallery specializing in authentic period english Georgian, Regency and Victorian furniture. We have been antique furniture dealers since 1999 and have had our web site, www.agbantiques.co.uk  since 2008.

We sell exclusively through the internet, Ebay being our main outlet for some years, but with increased sales recently via this website with literally hundreds of satisfied customers.

On our web site you will find authentic, rare and unusual items, either in original condition or lovingly restored and ready for your home. All items are authentic and as described! We carry no reproductions.

Everything we sell can be delivered to your home in the Uk or Europe. For all our furniture pieces we employ the services of our 'in house' shipping broker who, depending on your needs, will arrange crating or blanket wrapping & insured shipping to your home. It's easy!

If you require any further information about us or any piece of furniture that you find within the website then please do not hesitate to email Pam, at info@agbantiques.co.uk  where I will be more than happy to answer any inquiries you may have.
