William IV (Forth) Mahogany, Tilt Top Breakfast Table. |
Circa. 1830-1850. |
A chic tilt top breakfast table with a solid Flame Mahogany top with a circular fan inlay to centre and rope inlay stringing to border, which when upright displays the clever mirroring of the wood (they were tradesmen in those days). |

The ogee moulded edge with frieze and beaded edge to the top just finishes if off. The baluster shaped pedestal is to die for, just look at the carving and the scroll feet, they are the original castors too! |

The table catch has been replaced but the table screws are original. |
