This beautiful tea table has a flame mahogany top with ‘D’ moulded edge inlaid with boxwood stringing, feather inlay and an oval marquetry music inlay to centre (old fashioned lute and heralds trumpet). Supported on, square tapering legs with boxwood stringing and marquetry inlay to top of each leg showing Lilly of the Valley motif. The frieze has boxwood stringing and feather inlay, drawer has original brass lock and is in working order with replacement key, the drawer is oak lined and compartmentalised (three small compartments to front larger compartment at rear). |
