Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers.

Circa. 1780-1800.

This lovely bow front chest of drawers will serve you for another hundred years at least, so another heirloom for your family.

It has a solid mahogany top with caddy and ribbed edge inlaid with ebony stringing and check dentil inlay with an oval patrae in the centre. Above two short over three long drawers, cock beaded and oak lined with brass oval drop handles. The drawer fronts are inlaid with fine ebony stringing.

All supported on French style swept bracket feet joined by serpentine apron to front and sides inlaid with satinwood and ebony stringing.

Beautiful piece of antique furniture.
