It has a Flame mahogany top with ‘D’ moulded edge and rope inlay. Above a secretaire drawer with ten drawers and six pigeon holes and central door (lock still works with replacement key) door and secret drawer are inlaid with ebony and satinwood stringing. There is a new green baize writing surface. All drawer knobs and hinges are replacement. Front of secretaire drawer has ebony and satinwood decorative stringing forming a pattern above three long cock beaded drawers which are pine lined (all handles are replacement). |

All locks are original and still work (unfortunately no key) top two escutcheons are original but the rest are replacement. All supported on Ogee moulded edge with bracket feet. Have you found all the secret places yet? But isn’t it a beautiful piece of furniture too! |
